Toro Sprinkler Head Adjustment

Sprinkler heads are one of the most important parts to a sprinkler system.  Each sprinkler head is designed to spray the right amount of water onto a landscape.  Without a sprinkler head your water would just spray vertically up in the air like a geyser.  Thanks to sprinkler heads you can easily water your landscape adequately and properly.

When we built our home we installed Toro sprinkler heads and accessories with the help of https://www.plumbersstock.com/category/272/toro/.  Our sprinkler system has held up for many years and worked flawlessly.  However, last summer we found ourselves having a few problems with our sprinkler heads.  They needed to be adjusted to work properly.  After doing some research we discovered how to fix the problem all on our own.  Today my post is dedicated to adjusting Toro sprinkler heads.  It's very simple and easy to do and can pretty much be done by anyone.

Fixing Your Sprinkler Heads

If your sprinkler head is watering the sidewalk, hitting your driveway or even the walls of your home it's time to fix your sprinkler adjustment.  Fixing your sprinkler adjustment will not only help your yard to look nicer, but it will also keep you from spending money on wasted water.  If you need to adjust the sprinkler heads attached to your system it can be done easily and in no time at all.

Normally Toro sprinkler heads are designed to water between 45 degrees and 360 degrees.  You can adjust how your sprinklers water your yard so they don't waste water on areas which don't need it.  To adjust your sprinkler heads all you need to do is find the left stop position where your sprinkler stops at.  You can find this by rotating the nozzle clockwise until it stops.  Once you figure out where your left stop position is go to the right most edge of your current watering arc.  Press and hold the nozzle down and turn it to the left.  When you release the nozzle and lift it back up that point will be the  new right edge of the watering arc.  You can play with the nozzle and move it around until you find the position which will work perfect for it.

It is important to walk around your yard and test your sprinklers on a regular basis.  Doing this will help you identify if you are having problems with sprinkler heads that aren't watering properly.  It will help you to discover you have a problem before your lawn gets worse.

Fixing Toro sprinkler heads is straightforward and easy.  Don't go another day with a faulty sprinkler head if you are having problems.  Use the post to help you go out and fix the problems in your yard.  Once you discover just how easy it is you will wonder why you waited this long to make the switch.
