Remodeling Your Bathroom Faucets and More
Not long ago my mom and dad decided to remodel their bathrooms in their home. They have lived in their home for several years and the faucets which were once in style were now way out of date. Because my parents know how much I love DIY projects they hired me to help them out with this big undertaking. It was a fun & difficult project but so worth it now that it is all done. Their bathroom looks amazing and I learned a lot a long the way.
Today my blog post is directed to my friends and family who are sick of looking at their out of date bathroom every time they step inside of it. It's so easy to remodel a bathroom and can seriously be done in no time at all. Here are some tips to consider before beginning your project.
What Needs Changing in Your Bathroom?
Before begining your bathroom remodel it would be a good idea to make a list of all the things that you want changed. What things are out of date and falling apart? What things can be kept and still look nice? What is the color scheme you want your bathroom to have? These are all good questions to ask yourself before beginging your install.
Make Up A Design & Parts List
Look through a bunch of magazines and decide what look you would like to go with. You could even rip out your favorite designs and put together a book of your favorite trends. Once you have narrowed down exactly what you want your bathroom to look like you can create a parts list describing in detail each part you will need to complete the project.

If you are ever remodeling or changing out fixtures in a bathroom, the bathroom faucet is definitley something which shouldn't be skipped. With my parents bathroom makeover I followed the simple tips above. I made up a design & parts list, sat down with them and picked out new faucets and installed all the parts on my own. It's been a couple of months now and they are so happy with the way their bathrooms turned out.
